Each store ships online orders independently, so if you would like to take advantage of our free shipping offers, you'll need to take
note of which stores have the items you are interested in.
For example, if you have $25 or more items from Fern Park on your order,
and a single $5.99 item from RTS Oveido, the item from our RTS Oveido store would incur a $4.99 shipping charge.
Similarly, if you have an order that is less than $25 from two stores, you would incur two $4.99 shipping charges.

Item Conditions
It's very important to us that you are happy with the condition of every item you receive. We try to describe every item briefly but accurately. Here are our guidelines:
- Brand New:
A brand-new item is an unused item in its original packaging that we have ordered either from the publisher or from a wholesale distributor.
- Like New:
A like-new item is an item in essentially brand new condition.
- Very Good:
A very good item is a used item with normal but limited used-item wear. The item is complete and unmarked but might have some minimal curling or bumping of corners, some small tears in the dustjacket, or a previous owner's name on the front end page.
- Good:
A good item is a used item that will have moderate wear that might include:
• a torn or missing dustjacket
• hightlighting or underlining 20% or less
• spotting on page edges
• inscription on the front end page
• creasing on spine
These flaws will be noted in its description details.
- Acceptable:
An acceptable item is a used item that is heavy wear that might include:
• a missing or very worn/torn dustjacket
• hightlighting or underlining more than 20%
• heavy spotting on page edges
• inscription on the front end page
• heavy creasing on spine
The flaws will be noted in an item's description details.
- Withdrawn Library:
BrightLight Books buys and recycles withdrawn library items. These items will have clear, plastic dustjacket covers taped down and spine stickers typical of library-circulated items. But they will be in at least Good to Very Good condition unless otherwise noted.
About the Book
End Pain. Foster Personal and Professional Growth. Live Better. While endings are a natural part of business and life, we often experience them with a sense of hesitation, sadness, resignation, or regret. But consultant, psychologist, and bestselling author Dr. Henry Cloud sees endings differently. He argues that our personal and professional lives can only improve to the degree that we can see endings as a necessary and strategic step to something better. If we cannot see endings in a positive light and execute them well, he asserts, the "better" will never come either in business growth or our personal lives. In this insightful and deeply empathetic book, Dr. Cloud demonstrates that, when executed well, "necessary endings" allow us to proactively correct the bad and the broken in our lives in order to make room for the professional and personal growth we seek. However, when endings are avoided or handled poorly—as is too often the case—good opportunities may be lost, and misery repeated. Drawing on years of experience as an executive coach and a psychologist, Dr. Cloud offers a mixture of advice and case studies to help readers know when to have realistic hope and when to execute a necessary ending in a business, or with an individual; identify which employees, projects, activities, and relationships are worth nurturing and which are not; overcome people's resistance to change and create change that works; create urgency and an action plan for what's important; stop wasting resources needed for the things that really matter. Knowing when and how to let go when something, or someone, isn't working—a personal relationship, a job, or a business venture—is essential for happiness and success. Necessary Endings gives readers the tools they need to say good-bye and move on.
