"We've found something." There may be no more terrifying words in the English language, especially when they are uttered by one's doctor. That something for Rob Raban was cancer, specifically, non-Hodgkins Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma, Stage 4. The cancer was present on his seventh right rib and throughout the lymph nodes in his underarms, neck, and chest. Rob was thirty-nine years old.As a young husband and the father of three elementary school-aged boys, Rob was terrified of leaving them fatherless. Upon hearing the diagnosis, Rob asked his oncologist what the prognosis was and what to tell his sons.
